PUBLIC – Summer Field Report
September 22 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The fall equinox is approaching, and our Science Team is wrapping up another colorful season of long-term habitat monitoring, gathering new data on fish, small mammals, vegetation, and more. We’re excited to share some of what we’ve learned and explore why long-term monitoring is so important to preserving vital habitat for Sandhill Cranes, Whooping Cranes, and other wildlife.
Join us live for a special public Virtual Mini Session at 7:00 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, September 22, followed by our Members’ Exclusive Virtual Program at 7:00 p.m. CDT on Thursday, September 24.
Tuesday’s free public program will run approximately 20 to 30 minutes and feature views from the prairie along with highlights from this summer’s surveys.
