March Crane Viewing Tours
Riverfront Blind Tours
A trained guide leads guests to one of our prime viewing blinds on the Platte River. Blind tours are offered in the early morning while the cranes roost on the river and in the evening when the birds return to the river to roost for the night.
Age 12 and up.
$55 per participant, plus fees
Gifting Details:
- Purchase the tour you’d like to gift, and your gift recipient will receive their gift via email.
- The recipient can then redeem it for the tour date that works best for them.
Daytime Driving Tour
Join your guides on a 14-passenger touring bus to view cranes foraging in fields, prairies, and wet meadows. Disembark at key viewing spots to observe cranes feeding and interacting. Learn about crane behavior, local ecology, and wildlife viewing etiquette. Tours depart from the Nature & Visitor Center at 10 a.m.
Age 6 and up. $35 per participant, plus fees

Footbridge Tour
After a short presentation, accompany your guide for a walk on a paved path to our private footbridge over the north channel of the Platte River. Enjoy a 360º open-air view of cranes in the sky, along with the sights and sounds of other migratory birds. Tours depart from the Nature & Visitor Center at 6:00 p.m.
Age 12 and up. $15 per participant, plus fees

Gift of Membership
Membership levels start at just $75. All members have year-round access to exclusive programing and virtual crane tours in March. Friend of Trust level memberships $250+ will receive a Crane Migration Season Photobook! Generally gift recipients will receive their gift via email within 24 hours. - You make a donation as a “Gift of Membership”, providing your information and that of your gift recipient.
- You receive a receipt via email for your donation.
- Your gift recipient receives their membership via email.
