Volunteer Orientation

Have you ever thought about volunteering at Crane Trust? Now is your chance to come learn more about what opportunities are available! March is our busiest season as it is the peak of the Sandhill Crane migration in the central Platte River Valley, and we rely heavily on volunteers to help out in the visitor center and lead tours. If you are interested in cranes or habitat or conservation, or if you are just looking to join a great community of people and give back to a good cause, this is the volunteer gig for you.

February 7, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

This event is designed to prepare volunteers to help in March but will also give an overview of other year-round volunteer opportunities.

Lunch is provided. RSVP here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B0C4DABA823AAFF2-61469102-volunteer
