Virtual Program – Long Term Monitoring Survey Report

October 21 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Our Science Team has recently completed another year of long-term habitat monitoring, gathering new data on fish, small mammals, vegetation, and more. We’re excited to share what we’ve learned—and to discuss why long-term monitoring is essential to preserving vital habitat for Sandhill and Whooping Cranes.

Join us for a special virtual event at 7:00 p.m. (CST) on Tuesday, October 21, featuring Dr. Abraham Kanz, Director of Conservation Research, along with the Crane Trust Research Fellows.

During this online event, you’ll gain insights into our ongoing research, enjoy photos and video from the field, and have the opportunity to ask questions directly to our team. We’ll also share a special look at this year’s visiting Monarch Butterflies and other highlights from the field season.
