March Speaker Series: Nebraska’s Playa Wetlands- a Complement to the Platte

Join Ted LaGrangre, Wetland Program Manager for a presentation on Nebraska’s Playa Wetlands!
Ted will give a broad overview of Nebraska’s amazingly diverse wetlands, and then provide more details on playa wetlands, including the internationally significant Rainwater Basin. Some of the Rainwater Basin wetlands are located near the Platte River and migrating birds use both types of wetlands. A highlight will be showing the Playas of Nebraska film that was produced by the talented Platte Basin Timelapse team.
