March Speaker Series: Stories from the Virtual Stream
March Speaker Series: Stories from the Virtual Stream with Kylee Warren, Virtual Programs Producer at Crane Trust
March 7th at 10 a.m. – Free and open to the public!
For the past four years, Crane Trust’s Virtual Programs and the wildlife cameras they rely on have offered a front-row seat to one of North America’s most remarkable wildlife spectacles. From the arrival of sandhill cranes each spring to the quiet rhythms of the Platte River across the seasons, these cameras have captured thousands of hours of life unfolding in real time.
In this program, Kylee Warren, Crane Trust’s Virtual Programs Producer, shares a curated collection of video and photography that brings these moments together into a visual story. Through behind-the-scenes insights and unforgettable footage, Kylee reveals how virtual cameras have helped people connect with cranes, grassland birds, and the landscapes that sustain them.
This presentation celebrates migration, habitat, and the role of technology in conservation — offering audiences a rare chance to experience the Platte River ecosystem as few ever can, from dawn to dusk, year after year.
Whether you are a lifelong birder, a conservation supporter, or simply curious about the natural world, this program offers a window into Crane Trust’s living landscape and the stories it continues to tell.
